Prophet Adamآدم
The First Morning — the very first story of people is a story about coming back.

“Then Adam received [some] words from his Lord, and He accepted his repentance. Indeed, it is He who is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.”
The story of Prophet Adam
Prophet Adam, peace be upon him, was the first human being and the first of all the prophets — our very first father. Allah created him from clay and gave him life, then taught him the names of all things, a gift of knowledge the angels themselves had not been given.
Allah commanded the angels to bow before Adam in honour, and they all did — except Iblis, who refused out of pride and chose to disobey. Adam and his wife lived in a beautiful garden, free to enjoy everything but one tree. Through the whispering of Iblis they forgot and ate from it — and then, instead of hiding or blaming others, Adam turned straight back to Allah and asked for forgiveness. Allah, the Most Merciful, accepted his repentance.
Adam’s story is the very first story of people, and it is a story about coming back: that everyone slips, everyone can turn to Allah, and Allah always forgives the one who returns.
