Maryamمريم
The chosen of all women — a quiet life that carried a miracle.

“And [mention] when the angels said, 'O Maryam, indeed Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds.'”
The story of Maryam
Maryam (Mary), peace be upon her, is honoured in the Qur’an as the greatest of all women — “chosen above the women of the worlds” (Surah Aal Imran 3:42). Her mother had promised her unborn child to the service of Allah, and Maryam grew up devoted to worship in the sanctuary, where Allah provided for her in ways that amazed those around her.
When the angel brought her the news that she would have a son by Allah’s command — without a father — Maryam trusted her Lord completely. She gave birth to Prophet Isa (Jesus) in a lonely place, comforted by a stream and the fruit of a palm tree. And when people questioned her, the baby Isa spoke from the cradle to defend his mother and declare himself a servant and prophet of Allah.
Maryam’s story is one of purity, patience, and unshakeable trust in Allah, even when she faced what seemed impossible alone.
